Q. What does this site do?

Mirrored.to helps you upload your files simultaneously to various free file hosting providers. All you have to do is upload your file to our server once, and it gets automatically distributed to file hosting sites like GoFile, MediaFire, Turbobit etc. Once the file is uploaded to our server, you will be given a Mirrored.to link which contains the download locations for all the hosting sites you selected prior to uploading.
If you wish to upload files to your own accounts on these hosting sites, please Sign Up on our site and provide your account or API details for those respective hosts.
You can also upload files without registering on our site. In this case, files will be uploaded to the selected hosting sites as an anonymous user (this only works if the target site accepts files from non-registered users; otherwise, the uploads to those sites will fail).

Q. Are you a file hosting site?

No, we are not. Mirrored.to doesn't host any of your uploaded files permanently. We simply help you mirror your files simultaneously to multiple file hosting sites and store the links to those download locations.

Q. Why should I use Mirrored.to?

  • Your files are mirrored to multiple hosting services. Uploading files to just one host is no guarantee that the files will stay available long-term.
  • Redundant file backups. If one service goes down, you still have access to your files.
  • File sharing is made easy, as the people downloading your content have more choices to download from their preferred hosting site.
  • Most file hosting sites impose various "limitations" on free users. Avoid forcing your downloaders to buy premium accounts.
  • It saves you time and bandwidth.
  • Finally, Mirrored.to is rock-solid, highly reliable, and completely free!

Q. How do I upload a file?

  • Step 1: Go to the Mirrored.to home page and click the "Select Files to Upload" button near the middle of the page. A file dialog box will appear. You may select up to 10 files at a time without exceeding the total file size limit.
  • Step 2: Select the hosting sites where you want your files to be uploaded. Please note that some hosting sites require you to have an account with them. Make sure you have provided your account or API details on the host settings page. Also, note that some hosting sites only support video files.
  • Step 3: Click the "Start Uploading" button and wait for your file(s) to finish uploading. That's it—the rest is done by us.

Q. How do I download a file?

Go to the download page and click the "Click to view the file links" button in the middle of the page. The page will then display all the available hosting links for that file. You can choose your favorite host from the list and click the "Get link" button next to it. Please check the screenshots below if you need assistance.

Q. What files can I upload through Mirrored.to?

You can upload any type of file through our service, provided they comply with the terms of service of the target file hosting sites as well as our terms.

Q. Do I have to pay a fee to use your service?

No, Mirrored.to is a 100% free service.

Q. How do you keep this service free?

We rely on advertising to cover our operational costs.

Q. Do I have to keep the download page open until files are uploaded to each hosting site?

No, you don't! We'll begin mirroring the files as a background process as soon as they are uploaded to our site. You can share the Mirrored.to download URL immediately after your upload.

Q. How many files can I upload at a time?

You may upload up to 20 files at a time.

Q. What is the maximum upload size?

The current maximum file upload size is 750MB per file for both web and remote uploads. We also offer an increased file size limit (currently 3GB) for approved users. Please contact us if you would like to request an increased file size limit.

Q. Where is the Download Link?

After the upload process to our server is complete, the download link(s) will be displayed. This page will contain all the download links for the hosting sites you selected during the upload.

Q. Can I upload to my own accounts on different hosting sites?

Yes, you can. After logging in, visit this page to configure your hosting account details.

Q. How do I password-protect my files?

While uploading, click the "Additional options" link to enter a password.

Q. Why do some download links show as 'failed'?

While uploading, a specific file host may be temporarily down. We do retry, but if it is not successful after two attempts, the file status is changed to "Failed". If you try again after a few minutes, it will likely work. Alternatively, you can check that particular file host's website to see if they are experiencing issues. If a file host fails consistently, please let us know.

Q. I can't download. It asks me to enter a password.

Please contact the person who provided the file link for details about the password. We do not have access to passwords and cannot help you bypass them.

Q. How long is a link valid on Mirrored.to?

As long as your link does not violate our terms and gets at least 1 view in a 12-month period, it will remain in our database. Inactive links are purged to free up system resources.

Q. Can I search for files uploaded on Mirrored.to?

No, we do not provide a public search feature.

Q. After uploading, can I copy/paste the individual hosting sites' links directly rather than sharing the Mirrored.to link?

No, please always share the Mirrored.to download link. Mirrored.to is a free service, and we rely on advertising to cover our server costs. Please show your support by sharing the Mirrored.to link instead of extracting and using the individual download links.

Q. What will happen if I copy all the links and do not use the Mirrored.to link?

We rely on users passing the Mirrored.to link along to keep the service running. Our system may block the accounts or IP addresses of users who actively bypass our links in violation of our terms.

Q. What is the 'notify by email' feature?

It is an optional feature that sends you an email containing the link to the download page and the status of your upload. This is useful when uploading a large file; by entering your email before uploading, you don't need to leave the page open to wait for the process to complete.

Q. Do you spam or sell my email address?

No! We respect your privacy and take great care to protect your personal information.

Q. If I pay you, can you add my file hosting site to your mirrors list?

No, we do not add sponsored mirrors to our list. We only add established, reliable file hosting sites to maintain the high quality of our service.

Q. Where should I report copyright infringement?

We take abuse of our service very seriously. If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on Mirrored.to, please send a proper notification to abuse [at] Mirrored.to. Please read this page for more information on how to submit a report.

Q. I have found a vulnerability/security issue/bug on your site. What should I do?

If you find any security vulnerabilities on our site, we kindly request that you contact us right away before making any public disclosure. We will do our best to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

Account FAQ

Q. Why should I create an account?

Registering an account is the only way you will be able to upload files directly to your own accounts on third-party hosting sites. Anonymous users can only upload to hosts that support uploads without user registration. We highly recommend creating a free account on Mirrored.to so you can easily manage and share your uploaded files.

Q. Help! I've forgotten my username or password.

Please follow the instructions on the password reminder page. This link will send you an email with a new password. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive it in your inbox.

Q. How can I upload to my own accounts on hosting sites?

Once logged in, please go to this page and enter your hosting account details. Save the settings. From then on, any files uploaded through Mirrored.to while you are logged in will be uploaded directly to your connected accounts.

Q. Can I rename files from the file manager?

Yes. However, please note that since the files are already uploaded to third-party servers, renaming them in the Mirrored.to file manager will not actually modify the file names on those external servers. Only the Mirrored.to download page will reflect the modified file name.

Q. What is the file re-upload feature?

If all download mirrors for a file are inactive or dead, you can re-upload the file to retain the same Mirrored.to download link you previously shared. The number of views and file comments are not affected. You can access the re-upload link directly from your file manager page.

Q. Why did my file links disappear?

Most likely, the links were removed for violating our terms of service or due to a copyright takedown request.

Q. Why was my account banned?

We suspend the accounts of users who receive repeated copyright notifications for their uploads or who violate our other terms. If you believe this was a mistake, please send us a support request.

Q. If I delete a file from Mirrored.to, will it also delete the corresponding mirrored files from the hosting sites?

No, it will not. You will have to manually delete the files yourself from those specific third-party sites.

Q. What is a PRO account and how do I upgrade to one?

PRO accounts offer additional features such as increased upload size limits, increased mirror limits, increased daily remote upload limits, and more. PRO account upgrades are available for free to active Mirrored.to users. If you are an active user, please contact us to get your account upgraded to PRO for free.
